I've asked this question before, but the answers I've received were far from helpful - so I'm giving it another go. I'm having problems connecting to the Internet through my home's Wireless Connection (Sky). Whenever I try to connect, it takes at least five minutes before I get a response, and when I do get a response, it's comes up as "Limited or No Connectivity" even though the signal strength is Excellent or Very Good. The problem started just a few days ago; it was working properly before then. I know there's nothing wrong with the wireless box/router as there are other users in my house who's not having any problem with the connection. I've tried to fix it by clicking on "Repair this connection" but it's no help. My Network Key is correct and I'm able to connect through other unprotected wireless connections - so what could be the problem? There's probably something wrong with the settings on my computer, if so, how do I sort it out? Windows XP. Built in wireless card. Laptop new.
Wireless Connection problem - can you help? UK only [ I have Windows XP, Built in wireless card, Laptop new].hijackthis
you say the key is correct - are you using the Hex value for the key (different makes use different algorithms meaning the normal key may be interpreted differently).
