i'm using a linksys USB wireless device to connect to the internet, and i have a linksys router WITH SPEED BOOSTER! i use the USB device on two different computer (switching it between them depending on which one i feel like using) and on one computer it connects at 54 mbps which is what it should be, but on this computer it connects at only 11mbps, AND THE COMPUTER IS IN THE SAME ROOM AS THE ROUTER and it's much much better than the other computer and i am using the device in a USB 2.0 port. this sucks alot because i use the internet alot, mainly for counter strike source and i want my internet to be the fastest possable (and i can't play it on the other computer) i'v tried the linksys secure and easy button thing to see if it would fix the problem, but nothing, then i tried repairing it (right click on wireless icon and select repair) still nothing PLEASE HELP!

It may be too close to the router. Have you tried taking the 11Mbps computer to the other room where the 54Mbps computer is?
