Verification code not working for Maple Story?

I'm trying to sign up for Maple Story on my computer so that my cousin has something to play other than my WoW...but after I sign up it mails me the verification code, but when I type in the verification code that was sent to me, and even if I Copy/Paste, it's telling me that it's not the right code, and I've had it resent to my e-mail four times.....

I don't want him playing on my WoW game, because he doesn't know how to play and keeps killing off my toons and causing me huge repair bills LOL, so I'd rather have a game set up that he can play that is separate, but still keeps him busy on rainy days...

Any other suggestions of free online games he could play would be great....because I don't want to keep trying Maple Story, because so far, no impressed...

If you buy the game its free online. Like WOW but better graphics. GUILD WARS. Very cool game.
Maple story is really a huge game, you must pay much time on it, and at the sametime you should pay for it.
