Wmp11 problem?

i have been downloading wmp11 but it says "There is a more recent version of wmp (11.0.6000.6324) already installed on ur computer. It is not possible to use an older version (11.0.5721.5146) to install files or to repair ur current version of the player. how can i fix this. i already uninstalled wmp on my program. is there any other locations where i can uninstall the "recent version in my computer." thank you

probably you can use the Windows Restore feature to restore to a point before the WMP11 was installed.

use add/remove in control panel to remove the windows mwdia player and player runtimes (wether u hav 11, 10 9 anything).

Basically, remove anything with the windows media player logo.

then try installin wmp11 again, or download it again.
