Problem with Windows XP Home! blue screen error page_fault_in_nonpaged_area error!?

I can not start windows normally and i tried to do a system restore in safe mode and it took ages so i decided to shut down the computer. When i tried to re-install Windows XP home it came up with the blue screen error message : page_fault_in nonpaged_area (it also lists the following code: STOP: 0x00000050 (0xc6280000, 00xc00000000, 0x 8081b23, 0x 00000000) this message also comes up when you try to repair option also. I have award winning bios and it starts up ok with the usual one short beep indicating no hardware problems. I can not access safe mode any more. I have not installed any new hardware or software. Does anyone have any ideas?

Just format the drive in which Xp is installed and re install Xp again. Sorry that ur data which is in the drive Xp is stored will be deleted, other drives will be unharmed.

Go to BIOS by rebooting the computer and pressing DEL while its loading up kernel and shell.

Then, go to boot priority, there, ur externel drives would be shown

like ur floppy drive, hard drive and the cd rom drive.
