computer is my mothers and cant login as she cant rember the password but when i choose the fix later option the programme lets me in so if i can just repair the software that i have it would help the broadband she got installed.

If You mean it boots to the welcome screen and then you cant login, Try pressing F8 when booting the select boot from safe mode, you will then find an administrator icon on the welcome screen (if nobodys put a password on this) you can the login and delete the password on you mothers login:

I don't really understand all of your question, but you should be able to go to microsoftwindows.com and get a patch that will repair. Depending on which version of windows you are using, you could try "goback" on your computer, or go to : accessories, system information, click on tools at top of screen, select repair ie, or system file checker. If you have any files that have been disrupted, system file checker will let you know so you can fix them. Let me know if any of this works.
just click fix now and follow instructions if dont work then you are well screwed you will have too reinstall windows talking from expierience i am a pc engineer goodluck
